A new BBC documentary, Killer Couple: Love on Trial, will be released on Wednesday, 17 June at 4pm via BBC iPlayer and the BBC’s new YouTube channel, Deepwatch.

The documentary examines the case of Rachel Fulstow and explores the circumstances surrounding the case, conviction and subsequent efforts to review the case.

Jeremy Moore, specialist criminal appeals solicitor and director at FMT, is currently assisting the client with a detailed review of the case and the preparation of an application to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC).

Jeremy appears within the documentary and discusses aspects of the case as part of the wider examination of the issues involved.

The CCRC is the independent body responsible for investigating potential miscarriages of justice in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Where appropriate, it has the power to refer cases back to the Court of Appeal for further consideration.
