Lorraine has worked for 30 years representing parents in public law and private law children proceedings.   

Lorraine’s specialism is representing parents in care proceedings as she strongly believes that children should remain with their family as long as it is safe to do so. Lorraine states that “I will ensure that parents are given the best possible chance of keeping their children with them and are treated fairly and appropriately by the local authority”.   

Lorraine also provides specialist legal advice to family members who may wish to offer care or support for children who are subject to local authority involvement.
